Born and lives in Kaunas. 2002 – B.F.A. at Vilnius Academy of Arts, 2003 – postgraduate studies at the Japan Foundation Japanese-Language Institute, Kansai, Japan, 2004 – Asian studies at Kansai Gaidai University, Osaka, Japan, 2005 – M.A. at Vytautas Magnus University, Kaunas. Was teaching at VAA Kaunas Faculty (2006-2015). Author of several personal exhibitions including the duo, trio shows, participant of numerous other art shows in Lithuania and abroad. Curator of several art projects. Author of over 10 publications. Works independently and, occasionally, in collaboration with the other artists. She is also in collaboration with the gallery „Meno parkas“. Main forms of artist's expression are the process of drawing and printmaking, however, she often mixes techniques, occasionally works in the fields of photography, artist book, installation, interactive art, recently creates series of jewelry, enamel works where drawing is also a part.
Together with Tomas Vosylius, forms the basis of a creatively active group Legal (Art) Lovers, transmitting the particular creative realities from the individual, social life perspectives, memory, artistic approaches based on the personal experiences, context observation through the everyday notes and imagination, (self-)criticism, irony towards the fossilized, institutionalized forms of life that, in one way or another, all of us belong to. In everyday life and art practices, artists continue grasping the links between the garden, the museum, the street, the fairytales world and those who claim to be gods.
