Based in Kaunas, artist occasionally works in the other cities. 1992 – graduated from A. Martinaitis Children’s Art School, Kaunas, 1997 – Kaunas Applied Arts School (Furniture Design). 2002 – B.F.A., 2004 – M.F.A. (Sculpture Art) at Vilnius Academy of Arts. From 2009, owns the forge and foundry studio. From 2013, teaching at VAA Kaunas Faculty, Sculpture Studio. Participant of various contemporary art projects in Lithuania and abroad. He is also in collaboration with the gallery „Meno parkas“. Winner of the main prizes at several competitions of the creative light design. Mainly occupied with the fields of sculpture, object and jewelry art as well as creative design for interior details (lights, furniture, etc.), occasionally works in the other art fields.
Together with Greta Grendaitė, forms the basis of a creatively active group Legal (Art) Lovers, transmitting the particular creative realities from the individual, social life perspectives, memory, artistic approaches based on the personal experiences, context observation through the everyday notes and imagination, (self-)criticism, irony towards the fossilized, institutionalized forms of life that, in one way or another, all of us belong to. In everyday life and art practices, artists continue grasping the links between the garden, the museum, the street, the fairytales world and those who claim to be gods.
